Former Assistant Secretary of Defense, Arthur L. Money, Named to the Board of Directors of NovoDynamics, Inc.

NovoDynamics®, an Ann Arbor, Michigan supplier of document exploitation and pattern-recognition software, today announced the election of Mr. Arthur L. Money to their Board of Directors. Money has more than 40 years of management and engineering experience in the defense electronics and intelligence industries involving leadership roles in both government entities and private industry.
Recently Money served in various capacities in the Department of Defense, including two years (1999 to 2001) as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence; three years (1998 to 2001) as the Chief Information Officer for the Department of Defense; and two years (1998 to 1999) as the Senior Civilian Official in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense. In October 2003, Mr. Money was appointed as the first Chairman of the FBI's Science and Technology Advisory Board. Prior to his government service, Money was President of ESL Inc., a subsidiary of TRW. After its consolidation with TRW's Avionics and Surveillance Group, he became Vice President and Deputy General Manager for that Group.

Money holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Santa Clara and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from San Jose State University. He currently serves on several U.S. government boards and panels, is a member of the advisory board to several corporations and a member of the board of directors for a number of public and private companies.
