EXECUTIVES

David A. Rock, President and CEO
David Rock became NDI's President and CEO in August, 2005. Previously he became NDI's Chief of Software Operations in December, 2004 and President/COO in April 2005. Prior to joining NovoDynamics, David was the General Manager and the Senior Director of Engineering for the KinetDx Solutions business unit at Siemens Medical USA, Inc. While under David's management, the business achieved record revenues and received the 2003 Frost & Sullivan Market Penetration Award by capturing over 50% of the echocardiography PACS market. Prior to working in the medical industry, David performed neural network development as a Research Computer Scientist for the U.S. government, he developed graphics software for LucasFilms, Ltd, and he created a commercial programming language for generating computer-aided-design graphics. In addition to his management and technical experience, David has co-authored seven patents. He has a B.A. in Economics and Computer Analysis from Valparaiso University and he completed the Accelerated Business Management Program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School in 2003.
Mark A. Earles, Vice President, Commercial Sales & Business Development
Mark Earles joined NovoDynamics in January, 2008 and is responsible for the global commercial growth of NovoDynamics and the further development of its world wide partners program. Prior to joining NovoDynamics, Mr. Earles was the Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for EMC Captiva, where he doubled the size of his business unit’s revenue during his tenure. Prior to EMC Captiva, Mark served as the Vice President and General Manager for ADP Context (a business unit of Automatic Data Processing) where he was responsible for clinical editing reimbursement systems for the healthcare industry. Under Mark’s leadership, ADP Context became one of ADP’s most profitable business units. Mark began his career in the communication industry and has been involved in several successful entrepreneurial endeavors.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Donald C. Garaventi, Chairman of the Board
Effective with the March 19, 2001 merger of Nonlinear Dynamics and NovoDynamics, Mr. Garaventi became President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of the combined company, and in April 2005 he became CEO and Chairman of the Board. Prior to this, Mr. Garaventi spent the majority of his career at Rohm & Haas where, as Vice President and Business Group Director, he led the Polymers, Resins and Monomers business unit to sales of $2 billion and after-tax profits of $200 million. Following his retirement from Rohm & Haas Mr. Garaventi was President of Diversa Corp, a biotech company. In January 2000 he joined Catalytica Advanced Technologies, Inc. as Business Manager for Catalytica NovoTec before moving on to NovoDynamics. Mr. Garaventi received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
Roger B. Dickinson
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Torrington Research Company. Mr. Dickinson is co-founder of Torrington Research Company and has been Chairman from its inception in 1986. Torrington designs and manufactures motorized fans and pumps for high volume OEM applications. Mr. Dickinson transitioned the company from its engineering-only roots to one that uses its technology to achieve high growth in manufacturing. His focus is on the company's business development activities including marketing and creation of its technical concepts. Mr. Dickinson was formerly Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Torin Corporation - a world leader in the production of air moving devices. Prior to Torin, he held a General Management position at ASCO and sales engineering positions with the Trane Company. He earned a BSME degree from Duke University in 1966 and is a registered professional engineer. Mr. Dickinson is a Director of Seitz Corporation, an injection-molding firm in Torrington, CT, serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Advisory Council and is a member of the Board of Finance for the City of Torrington.
Ricardo B. Levy
Ricardo B. Levy, a founder of Catalytica, Inc., currently serves as chairman of the board of Catalytica Energy Systems, Inc. Dr. Levy served as director, chief operating officer, chairman and chief executive officer of Catalytica Inc. from 1974 to 2000. Prior to Catalytica, Dr. Levy was a member of the chemical physics research team at Exxon Research and Engineering Company. He obtained a Ph.D. in chemical engineering in 1972 from Stanford University, a M.S. in 1967 from Princeton University, and a B.S. in 1966 from Stanford University. From 1967 to 1970 he was general manager of a manufacturing operation, Sudamericana, Inc., in Quito, Ecuador. Dr. Levy has authored over 14 papers and patents in the field of catalysis and is co-author of a book entitled Catalysis in Coal Conversion. In 1989 he completed the owner/president management program at the Harvard School of Business Administration.
Arthur L. Money
Mr. Money has more than 40 years of management and engineering experience in the defense electronics and intelligence industries involving leadership role in both government entities and private industry. He has served in various capacities in the Department of Defense, including two years (1999 to 2001) as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence; three years (1998 to 2001) as the Chief Information Office for the Department of Defense; and two years (1998 to 1999) as the Senior Civilian Official in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense. In October 2003, Mr. Money was appointed as the first Chairman of the FBI's Science and Technology Advisory Board. Prior to his government service, Money was the President of ESL Inc, a subsidiary of TRW. After its consolidation with TRW's Avionics and Surveillance Group, he became Vice President and Deputy General Manager for that Group. Mr. Money holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from San Jose State University.
Robert R. Saltsman
Mr. Saltsman was President and CEO of Nonlinear Dynamics, Inc., a discovery informatics company located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from September 2000 until March 2001. Mr. Saltsman retired from Chrysler Corporation where he held a number of executive marketing positions including corporate marketing strategies, several Dodge brand positions, e.g. marketing executive assigned to the Advanced Engineering Center to create the LH platform, marketing plans manager, advertising manager, and merchandising manager and Director, Chrysler Marketing Institute. Prior to joining Chrysler, Mr. Saltsman worked for Ford in various field sales assignments in the Cincinnati District (General Field Manager) and the Louisville District office. He earned a BS degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a MBA from Kent State University.
